Safeguarding God's Children Trainings
Educational programs for preventing child abuse sponsored by the Diocese of Bethlehem.  Required for all who work with children and youth within the parish, as well as for all vestry members.
The training course is on-line. Contact Adrien in the church office (563-1564) to register for the course.
Do you realize that Epiphany draws students from at least
6 different school districts
as well as
parochial  and home schools?

As Sunday school teachers
we are called to
build community
among classmates who may have no school connection
during the week.

At Epiphany
it is important that

every student feel
they
belong to our church family

regardless of where they attend school during the week.

Let's work to make
every child feel
welcomed
here.

Looking for Sunday School Craft Supplies at Epiphany?
I spent a good chunk of time organizing the odds and ends that have accumulated over the years - and tossing lots of old, worn-out items. They are stored in the closet in the youth room, the hall cabinet and my Sunday school room so see me if you can't locate a needed item.
Here is a partial list of some of the goodies:
beading supplies - gimp, hemp, cord,  variety of beads from pony to seed, findings, etc.
yarn - lots of yarn in a variety of colors and textures
feathers - from large to small, natural to unnatural colors
fun foam - while not the most ecological item, we have lots of shapes and sheets, mostly donated, as well as special glue and markers for foam
fabric markers and paints
acrylic and tempra paints - LOTS
pipe cleaners
straws - straight and bendy
google eyes - variety of sizes
beans and rice - great for mosaics
craft sticks and clothespins
poster board
fabric and felt
coffee filters
masks - the size that just covers the eyes
sand
shells
glitter glue
stones, gravel and sand
egg cartons, paper tubes
and much, much more!!

Useful things we have for Sunday School Teachers to use:
